Mountainside Home Realty is located on beautiful Washington Street in the historic Hoye House. The Hoye House was built in 1796, directly on the parade grounds of Fort Cumberland, just two years after President George Washington reviewed his Whiskey Rebellion troops on that spot. It is thought to be the oldest standing building in the entire City of Cumberland.
The nearby Emmanuel Episcopal Church complex offers historic walking tours of Downtown Cumberland, peaks into the underground tunnel system of Fort Cumberland, a realistic model of Fort Cumberland and a gift shop on the first floor. We occupy the entire top floor with sweeping views of Prospect Square and the Potomac River. Stop by and see us! Right now, our office hours are by appointment.
In 2023, Mountainside Home Realty opened a second location in Fort Ashby, West Virginia. Located in the heart of town, this office caters to our clients in the Potomac Highlands.
